asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Information whether he is aware that it will be impossible to find space to exhibit more than a small number of the notices contained in a packet, computed to weigh half a hundredweight, received from his Department last week by a Black Country engineering firm; and will he take steps to be more economical with paper?

I am not aware of the circumstances referred to in my hon. Friend's question. No firm such as he describes should have received from the Ministry any package weighing anything approaching half a hundredweight; but if he will supply me with details I will gladly look into the matter. With regard to the last part of his question, the need for economy of paper is being most carefully observed.

I shall be delighted to send my hon. Friend details.
