asked the Prime Minister whether, in view of the meagre reports in the Press about the policy of Russia in Poland east of the Curzon line, he will take steps, so far as it is in the public interest, to publish the information in the possession of his Department on the subject?

His Majesty's Government have at present little extra information on this subject which could usefully be published, but the hon. Member's request will be borne in mind.

asked the Prime Minister (1) whether he can make a statement concerning the concentration of Polish Jews in the district of Lublin;

(2) whether he can make a statement concerning the present situation in that part of Poland occupied by the German Army?

In the absence of official reports, I am unable to make a statement on the situation in territory occupied by Germany. There is no reason to believe that the reports which have appeared in the Press on the subject of the concentration of Jews in the Lublin district are not substantially correct.

Have His Majesty's Government no information to show that this operation is being carried out with unparalleled inhumanity?

I think the hon. Member will draw his conclusions from the statements in the Press, from which we have also drawn our conclusions.
