– in the House of Commons am ar 8 Tachwedd 1939.
asked the Prime Minister whether he has been officially in formed as to the war aims and contingent peace terms of the French Government in the present war?
I would refer the hon. Member to the public statements which have been made on behalf of the French Government, notably M. Daladier's speeches on 21st September and 10th October, and the official communique issued after his meeting with the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Chamber of Deputies on 4th October.
Is the right hon. Gentleman satisfied that complete agreement has, in fact, been reached between Great Britain and France on war aims?
If the hon. Member will refer to the statement he will see that those aims are identically the same as those of His Majesty's Government.
