In deciding whether or not an individual trader has charged more than the permitted increase regard must be had to matters specified in the Schedule. One of these is the cost of raw material. How would the permitted increase be determined in the case of an individual trader, and how far would he be justified in increasing his price owing to a rise in the cost of his materials?

There is an Amendment down to the Schedule dealing with this point, and perhaps that will be the most convenient place to deal with it.

Question put, and agreed to.
