asked the Prime Minister whether, in view of the delay in the issue of the report of the Royal Commission on Location of Industry, and the urgency of the problems involved in other areas than the Metropolitan area, steps can be taken to expedite the publication of the report at an earlier date than September next?

The chairman of the commission is, of course, fully aware of the urgency of the questions involved, but he does not think it will be practicable to issue the report before September.

In view of the long delay, will a special effort be made to expedite the Government's decision when the report is received, in view of the great importance of this matter?
