asked the Secretary of State for War what steps have been taken by him to carry out the undertaking to notify men called up under the Military Training Act that they will at no time during their period of service be asked to perform duties in connection with industrial disputes?

May I ask the specific question: Does it cover only the six months for which they are now being called up, or does it cover the whole period during which they may be called upon to serve? This is very important.

Will they be strong enough to perform these duties if they are fed on margarine?

This suggestion is being borne in mind, but I am not sure that it will be practicable.
asked the Secretary of State for War whether arrangements are being made to set up milk bars in the new Militia camps which are being organised, such milk bars to be either part of the dry canteens in the camps or, if that is not possible, in close proximity to the camps?
No, Sir, but hot and cold milk will be on sale at the Navy, Army and Air Force Institutes.
