asked the Minister of Labour the total number of registered unemployed in Glasgow for the years ended March, 1938 and 1939, respectively?
The average numbers of unemployed persons, aged 14 and over, on the registers of Employment Exchanges in Glasgow during the years ended March, 1938, and March, 1939; were 77,356 and 78,535, respectively.
