asked the Secretary of State for Air what action is being taken with regard to the recommendations of the committee under the chairmanship of Lord Gorell which has recently reported on certain matters connected with civil aviation in this country?

The recommendations are now being examined in detail by my Department in consultation with the other Departments concerned. I hope to be in a position to make a full statement shortly and to indicate the steps that will be taken to give effect to the approved proposals.
