asked the Prime Minister how far the terms of the Anglo-Italian Agreement have been carried out in Libya for the progressive reduction of Italian troops; and whether he has any information as to the total numbers now located there?

I would refer the hon. Member to the replies given to the hon. Member for Kingswinford (Mr. A. Henderson), on 12th and 21st December, to which I have at present nothing further to add.

These reductions ought to have continued since then, and are they still continuing at the rate of 1,000 per month?

This matter is receiving attention, and we are making inquiries. I cannot say more at present.
