asked the Prime Minister particulars of the reports he has received from His Majesty's Ambassador in Paris as to the number of Indian subjects who have been arrested in Paris and deported during the previous six months; and can he make a statement with reference to same?

My Noble Friend has received reports from His Majesty's Ambassador at Paris concerning the expulsion from France of three Indian subjects during the past six months. The position is that His Majesty's Ambassador has been in communication with the French Government about these cases, but the latter have not seen their way to rescind the expulsion orders.
