asked the First Lord of the Admiralty whether he is prepared to recommend that fresh consideration should now be given by the Board of Admiralty to the future status of Rosyth naval base?

Sir B. EYRES MONSELL:

The position of Rosyth is constantly before the Admiralty in connection with the developments of the international situation, but as stated in the reply given by my hon. Friend on the 10th July no change in its status is at present contemplated.
