I think the right hon. Gentleman is correct in saying that he has implemented his promise to the House in this matter, and I merely wish to ask a question for the purpose of elucidating a point. If the right hon. Gentleman will turn his attention to the heading of the Amendment, he will see that members of a county council or of any committee or sub-committee thereof in attending meetings. are to be compensated. I ask him whether the members of district councils come within the scope of this provision?
