asked the Minister of Health if he is aware that there were some houses built at Chilton Lane, Ferry-hill Station, County Durham, on which the subsidy was paid over three months ago, and two of the houses are still un-tenanted waiting for a purchaser to buy them; and will he consider the desirability of withholding the subsidy on houses until they are likely to be occupied?

I have made inquiries and gather that the two houses to which the hon. Member refers have been sold and will be occupied shortly.
