asked the Minister of Health whether he is aware that the Dorset County Council is advertising for a health visitor at a salary of £148 a year, out of which the person appointed has to contribute £7 15s. a year towards the superannuation funds and to find her own bicycle; and whether, seeing that this salary, with its yearly increments, is far below the normal scale, he will draw this council's attention to the effect of its action upon the standard of trained nurses likely to be attracted into the public health service?
