Mr Arthur Ponsonby
, Sheffield, Brightside
asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether any Report has been received with regard to complaints about the misconduct of coloured troops in the Palatinate; and whether any representations have been made by His Majesty's Government on this subject?
Secretary of State was originally the title given to the two officials who conducted the Royal Correspondence under Elizabeth I. Now it is the title held by some of the more important Government Ministers, for example the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs.
