I have been asked to reply. The approximate number of working days lost through industrial disputes in the coal mining industry in Great Britain was 1,246,000 in 1922; 1,183,000 in 1923 and 1,460,000 in 1924. For Belgium the figures were approximately 206,000 in 1922; 480,000 in 1923 and 2.527,000 in 1924. Corresponding figures for France and Germany are not available.
