asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Admiralty if the question of the retired pay for retired naval officers who served in the War was considered by an Admiralty committee; if so, by whom the committee was appointed; and will he publish the names of the committee?
The question of the suspension of the retired pay of retired naval officers called out for service during the War was considered by the Officers' Pay Committee of 1919; this committee was appointed by the Admiralty and consisted of Rear-Admiral Sir Lionel Halsey, K.C.M.G., C.B. (President); Captain L. A. B. Donaldson, C.M.G., R.N.; Captain G. O. Stephenson, C.M.G., R.N.; Commander Dudley North, R.N.; and Acting-Paymaster Lieut.-Commander A. C. A. Janion, R.N. (Secretary).
