I can only give my experience, which I think is quite as great as that of the hon. Member for West Woolwich (Sir K. Wood). On many occasions I have attended before the Master or the Judge on appeal as to this right of trial by jury, and it has been made when the whole of the materials, probably, have been completed, when the pleadings have been put in, and the evidence has been collected upon the advice of counsel and everybody knows what the issues are.
