I should like to give a word of warning as to what will be the result if everybody goes to the Universities and becomes a professor. How are they going to live? The idea seems to be prevalent nowadays that if you wish to be successful in life all you have to do is to go to a University. My experience is that some of the ablest men at the Universities have been content with a very small income, and in many cases do not earn any income at all. We cannot all have black coats and sit in offices, because if we do, the country will be ruined. It is not by any manner of means certain that the best education for the majority of people is not a good trade.
