Mr. CHAMBERLAIN:
I do not think time would admit of such a course of special inquiry as is suggested by my hon. Friend, apart from the objection in principle to such action in respect of a Bill engaging the consideration of the House of Commons. I have no doubt that hon. Members serving on the Committee will be placed in a position to represent very fully the views of the local authorities on the Bill.
