My hon. Friend understands that negotiations have for some time been proceeding between the French and the Serb-Croat-Slovene Government, but he has no information that a loan has actually been concluded. In regard to the second part of the hon. Member's question, the Serb-Croat-Slovene Government have been asked to deposit interest bearing Treasury bills for their debt to this country.
